Tag Team Sermon: Looking Back, Looking Forward | Transition Service

In this special transition service, Pastor Chad and Pastor Kolbe share a meaningful conversation about change, conflict, perseverance, and growth as Bridge Church enters a new chapter.

Looking back, they share the story of how the Hammons and Hills met and how God orchestrated the Hammons’ journey to Bridge Church, including Chad joining the staff. What may have seemed like separate moments were part of God’s greater plan leading to this season.

Looking forward, they reflect on the transition ahead as Pastors Kolbe and Rachel step into their next chapter and Pastor Chad steps into the role of Lead Pastor. Through Matthew 4:9, Matthew 11:28-30, and Romans 1:5, they explore a simple truth: God initiates change, change encounters conflict, and perseverance produces growth.

They also revisit Bridge Church’s mission: Be. Become. Build a Bridge. We are called to be who God created us to be, become more like Christ, and build bridges so others can do the same.

The service closes with Pastors Chad and Diana praying over Pastors Kolbe and Rachel, and Pastors Kolbe and Rachel praying over Pastor Chad and Diana, marking this transition with honor, prayer, and faith for what God has ahead.
